Give Scott Gallacher a chance in goal.

i thought walsh was a striker ?

Elfideldo's the one in the know, but I've seen glimpses of Walsh on RangersTV and he's always looked as if he's attacking the penalty box from the right wing.

I don't mind Argyriou that much but he certainly doesn't get forward enough.

I'd certainly say he's better than Hegarty or Faure in that position. Darren Cole is perhaps the pick of the bunch but seems to be permanently injured.

what risk we are 20 points clear.

The risk isn't to our promotion chances but more to the development of the player.

Some will say it's the ideal time to test a player during a difficult period for the unit within the team; others will say a bad game for them will put him back a fair bit. It's decisions like those which make a manager earn his huge wage.

true.

at least in part. a good manager would get a player through any poor performance without it affecting them.

A manager can't always judge the mental capabilities of a player until they thrown in. There's always an element of risk.
