We can thank David Murray for this, failed to match wee Bonnets ambition thinking 50000 was all we needed when Celtic were skipping past us a business. I have always said, whether we can fill it or not, we need a similar or larger capacity to them. For stature and financially.

Scotland v Georgia

Saturday 11 October 2014, kick-off 5.00 pm

Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow

 

Scotland’s first home match of the UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifying Campaign will be played at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.

 

The National Stadium, Hampden Park, is unavailable following its use as a Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games venue.

 

Ticket details, and the venue for the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier against Republic of Ireland on Friday 14 November, will be confirmed shortly.

Smell a rat there. As soon as It was 'the Rep Ireland fixture will be announced in due course" ....are you taking the George! Play it at Murrayfield if there is genuineness.

 

If it went to Murrayfield, folk would only moan about the SFA giving football money to the rugby authorities instead of putting it back into the Scottish game.
