New Manager's press conference

Recommended Posts

liked his comment about players doing what they do best noting his comment about Law beating a man and scoring in training.... hopefully this indicates he will be playing players in their best positions and playing a balanced team, not trying to fit round pegs in square holes..

A manager who plays players in their actual positions?... at Rangers?

How novel.

I hope Stuart McCall tells the players they're no longer getting a Thursday off and that today wasn't just a one-off because that is a total and utter disgrace.

A Sunday off after a Saturday game is acceptable, but the players should be at Murray Park every single day during the week.

Thanks GS, I missed it live.

I like how he was straight in there with the word 'we' when referring to the team, rather than 'they'. Him being a pundit at alot of games this season will have been of help to him and you can tell that in his knowledge of our season so far.

I also like that he pulled them in to training on their day off, although the players probably didnt like it much.

All in all, spoke well and has the drive in him, if he can transfer that to the players, all the better.
