Rangers manager Stuart McCall "sickened" by Lee McCulloch boos

Recommended Posts

I can remember walking out before half time when the fans turned on john grieg at Dunfermline circa 1970 its just not on maybe to much buckfast or some other cheep wine doing their talking .

I doubt we will be signing anyone as useless as him on anything like those wages.

His immediate replacement in the first team.

Wages would be irrelevant, surely, if you really are worried about a centre half doing damage to us that is.

I definitely don't agree with booing our own players during a game, but I agree with a lot of the other comments in this thread in the sense that I think the real sickening aspect of this is that most don't think Lee McCulloch should even still be in the team.

Jig turns 37 next month and he most certainly should not still be playing as some sort of aging, make-shift central defender if (for some reason or other) the manager can't drop him.

Ultimately, the manager picks the team, but despite his previous comments about Jig NOT being undroppable, I think McCall has failed to comprehend (or even properly acknowledge) just how scunnered the fans are about the subject of our captain because most of us clearly view him as neither a captain or a defender and we generally agree that he shouldn't still be getting a game for us, especially as a central defender.
