Champions League week 1

Week 2, Chelsea and Arsenal both slip up.

Something very wrong at Chelsea. I think Mourinho has lost the dressing room after the doctor issue and his comments over players.

As for Wenger, what is he thinking not playing Cech. Ok they have Man Utd at the weekend but you cant wrap players up. 5 changes to a winning team. He seems to be putting his eggs into the premier league basket. They wont get out the group now, a double header against Bayern next, they will be lucky to get 1 point. What does he see in Ozil, they guy is undropable and un-sub-able yet does nothing.

The best league in the world my arse.

Only if you are a marketer or salesperson.

The BPL has been outstripped significantly by both La Liga and the Bundesliga. Far stronger teams, and part of it is because they actually have teams in those leagues as opposed to England where the top 3 or 4 clubs simply throw money at a problem. And it will only get worse with the home-grown rules too.....

What he earns is irrelevant to Arsenal and Wenger though, as it includes sponsorships and endorsements. What MIGHT matter (but shouldn't) is what his WAGES are at Arsenal.

I thought Ozil was a cracking signing when Arsenal first got him, thought he would work really well with the system Wenger likes to play. How wrong I was. Flatters to deceive and looks like a very, very lazy player. His form has dipped considerably since he hit the heights with Madrid and he, for me, has been a bust at Arsenal.

Ronaldo who hadn't scored in his last 3 games (a record drought for him) since his hat-trick in Game Wk1 scored both goals in a 2-0 win against Malmo tonight...his first was the 500th of his career, the 2nd goal equalled Raul's record number of goals for Real (323).

Raul played over 700 games for RM, this was Ronaldo's 308th game for them.
