Law's done enough for another season I reckon.

I thought MacKay was a waste of space but this season he's turned it around

so I'd keep Law

The problem with Law last season that his goals apart, he did not actually play very well, was more often than not chasing shadows or letting the game pass him by. That is the problem with statistics. They give you some hard facts, but not much flesh to those bones. IMHO, what irks most people about last season and Law is probably the fact that we knew and know that he can play much better, but that he hardly reached 50% of that most of the time. In that respect, as good or bad a footballer Black is being viewed by boarders, he always gave you the 100% he had. We had far too many in our ranks after admin who did not, luckily enough we've got rid of all of them.

To be honest, I didn't think Law too bad last year, relatively speaking. The stats confirm he contributed a disproportionate amount. However, the overall standard was poor, so in absolute terms he's not at the level we ultimately need. I still think he can still contribute this year and next -- hopefully more of a squad player next year though!

I would suggest that the Spanish sun and sangria are affecting your senses

 

You could be right about that it's been near 20C here today and some folk have been out sun bathing, I stick with the straight vino tinto rioja or brandy espanol.
