First post on here folks, I know he's Australian but I'd really like to have seen us signing Jackson irvine from County. He's a midfielder, but with his aerial ability and height, and passing range, I reckon he'd have been a good option at centre half.

Whether they would've sold him to us, who knows. Burton albion though, he could've done better than that. Money talks I suppose.

Matt Crooks is about ready so we should see what he has to offer!,I don't like the idea of playing a midfielder at CB!,I think Crooks started as a CB and then moved to midfield?

Irvine had a good season for County but I thin Crooks is a similar player.

 

Whether either can play defensively I'm not sure but welcome to the forum anyway!
