Sheep to clap at the 12th minute on Sunday

Recommended Posts

I'm watching the match with St Johnstone. They have been edging the possession but after 25 minutes haven't brought a single save from the goalie. Incidentally the stadium looks pretty empty and what are there have nothing better to do but chant "bring on the Rangers"

The obsession runs deep.

From their point of view we dealt them three hammer blows on the field of play more significant than run of the mill defeats.

In two successive weeks in the mid seventies when they were full of ambition and playing well, we beat them 2-0 in the Cup and 4-0 in the league both games at Ibrox, then there was the famous 2-0 wnner takes all last game of the season early in the NIAR.

It's hard to like someone who snatches your lollipop from you. On the other hand they took some horrible batterings from celtic like - dare I say it? - lambs.

Pittodrie heading for a sell-out as Aberdeen prepare to host Rangers in powderkeg league clash

THE Ibrox club are making their first appearance in the Granite City since securing promotion back to the top flight and there are less than 1,000 tickets left.

PITTODRIE is heading for a Sunday sell-out as Aberdeen have confirmed less than 1,000 tickets remain for the much-anticipated visit of Rangers.

The Ibrox club are making their first appearance at Pittodrie since securing promotion back to the top flight and the first in five years.

Demand for tickets from both supporters has been high for what is always an exciting showdown between the sides.

Aberdeen have also announced that there are no more tickets available for the South Stand as both teams look to grab all three points and get back into the title race after disappointing starts to the campaign.

Rangers have found it difficult in the Granite City over the last decade or so, but the Ibrox side have won on each of their last three visits, with the last meeting coming in October 2011 in a 2-1 Gers win.

You have to go back to November 2009 for the Reds' last victory against the Govan outfit on home soil, a 1-0 victory in season 2009/10.

There are still Aberdeen briefs remaining for tomorrow night's Betfred Cup quarter-final tie against St Johnstone at Pittodrie.

Shit that would have been a great name for the match preview. The silence of the Lambs.
