SPFL announce Hampden ticket prices for Rangers v Celtic and Morton v Aberdeen

OLD FIRM fans can see their side in action against their rivals for £25 depending on what stand they are in.

 

MORTON, Aberdeen, Rangers and Celtic will be asked to shell out between £25 and £35 for tickets for the Betfred Cup semi-final ties at Hampden.

 

The SPFL revealed their admission prices for the last four ties which will take place at the national stadium in October.

 

SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "We are pleased to be able to announce the information for this season’s Betfred Cup semi-finals, following agreement with all four clubs and other parties involved, including our valued broadcast rights holder for the competition, BT Sport.

 

"We are all looking forward to two fantastic games and hope supporters of all four clubs enjoy lots of entertaining football."

 

The semi-final ties will take place over the weekend of October 22 with Aberdeen facing the Ton on the Saturday at 12.15pm and the Old Firm going head-to-head the day after at 2.15pm.

 

The date for the Betfred Cup final is Sunday 27 November 2016. Here's a full breakdown of the semi-final ticket prices for each club:

South Stand Lower Section J1 - Adults £35

North Stand Section D - Adults £25

East Stand Section F1 & F2 - Adults £25 & Under-16 £10

North Stand Wheelchair Users - Adults £20 & Under-16 £5

Fans react with anger over SPFL prices Fans of the four clubs in the Betfred Cup semi-finals have reacted in anger after being asked to fork out between £25 and £35 for tickets to the game. The double-header takes place on 23 and 24 October as Celtic and Rangers face off a day before Aberdeen play Morton. (SPFL)

A fair bit cheaper than the FA cup semi final tickets (35-65) - although you get a far superior padded seat, good leg room and obviously closer view at the ends at Wembley these days.

 

You're also seeing a lot more expensive players on the park in England.

They are not Rangers so I would rather be at Hampdump even if Messi and Ronaldo were at Wembley
