If I was going to be walking any distance I'd rather take the flat roads to Victoria Rd, etc.But agreed, it'll be mobbed. you can get the train from there to Central....Queens Park. Problem is, the trains will be packed in both directions from any of them. The alternative - follow the Queens Park fence past Viccy Rd along to Pollokshaws Road and pop into the New Regent.
