Priorities, Retweets and Poor Company

Great read John and actually incredible you had to write it. I am slightly split on the safety issue to be honest. If I was an attending supporter I would want to know if the roof is not safe. In that respect it may not be a bad thing for the board to produce papers to prove that it is safe. Personally I think the sick one writes anything he thinks could put a financial strain on our club so In that respect I would hope the board don't take the bait and sticks 2 fingers up at the deluded rangers stalkers.

As for the Parkhead stand. What happens if only a third of the supporters turn up on a day with high winds?. When are the supports removed? If they are removed before the supporters are seated then surely the transition time from supported through Pillars to supported through people is a high risk moment. What would happen when there are no pillars and only a few hundred supporters left or just entered if a sudden high gust of wind suddenly occurs? If the supports are removed after a certain amount of fans are seated then who makes the decision when the safe point has been reached. Is it a trained structural engineer or Joe Soap the head steward.

I hope the structural engineers that done the calculations weren't in Saville.

Forget the piggery roof, for the moment......apparently tonight's game @pittodrie has been abandoned.

The Northern Lights have failed, and even God wouldn't trust an Aberdonian in the dark.

Pity help you if you are wearing a furry jacket.:)

Unconfirmed, but Twitter bears suggest that part of the piggery had to be closed off tonight due to a problem with.... the roof!!

Scottish Premier at Celtic Park

Date: 13/12/2016 KO: 19:45 Ref: Att: 55,076

I watched the game and in some of the shots, especially in the upper decks, I'd say they would be lucky to have half that total attendance given.

Maybe the twitter reports are true.
