pete 2,499 Posted March 24, 2007 Share Posted March 24, 2007 The ref gave a possible valid description of why he done it which was accepted by all the media, pundits etc. There was a bad foul just before the goal and the Ref played the advantage rule which led to the goal you see in the film. The ref said his reaction was about getting the decision spot on to play the advantage rule and not for the team scoring.
