Ugo Ehiogu passes away

Recommended Posts

Oh my goodness, it didn't sound good yesterday, but this is terrible news.

Black armbands on Sunday for sure; but perhaps best to wait till the next home game for a minute's silence?

He will never be forgotten for THAT goal.

The next game is Celtic as well although it will be at Ibrox. A minutes silence and then showing the overhead kick goal in slow motion on the giant screens would be good.:)

When watching his goal up there, I could hear the echos of fresh screams of "foul" when he barged the Yahoo over before scoring. If they could, they'd have the Compliance Officer taking a look at that.

We may commemorate him with a black armband in both games. A minutes silence will be ruined, rest assured.

I heard on the radio that there will a minute's applause at the Birmingham - Villa derby match this weekend in honour of big Ugo.

I absolutely despise applause for a life lost - I dont understand clapping death and I dont buy into the lets applaud the life he lived. You do that when they are alive, not when they have died, especially such a sudden and young death.

As and when our club mark his passing (Sunday or next week) I will stand respectfully for a minutes silence. It is the right thing to do.
