I hesitate to employ the word, as it has been, still is, overused, misapplied, and thus devalued, but Totti may only be classified as a "legend". There is no other description.

 

I -we - can only admire, from afar, and wish him a long and happy retirement from playing.

Messi and Iniesta at Barca, Phillip Lahm at Bayern (he just retired too) and I can't think of too many more who have only been single club players. Even Iniesta may be leaving Barca to go to Juve so he would possibly come off the list.

The Italians arent 4 times World Cup winners for no reason. They do produce. The last 10 years they havent been at the races club wise but Juventus are turning that around. Roma and Napoli have good sides but the league really needs the Milan duo to pick up.

 

Always loves watching Channel 4 Italian football earlier 90s.
