Who do you have in mind that we can afford and who would want to come to Rangers?

Me? No-one springs to mind. When it came to our defensive problems, it was pretty obvious who I wanted signed - Pressley or Weir were two names mentioned and I think a lot of us thought that was a no-brainer.

Now, I have no idea. It depends how much money is available and what our scouting network turns up I guess. It also depends greatly on what WS thinks of our current squad.

Also, the last part of your question is very telling at the moment. I just don't know where we go from here really.

Well i think one thing is certain which has proved itself, Barry Ferguson is not that man. Anyone who thinks they are better than all the other players put together and won't pass to certain players because he has cast judgement on them is certainly not the man for the job. As i have said before, Advocaat, lost the dressing room. Eck, lost the dressing room. PLG, lost the dressing room.

Let us now look for a common denominator and the one player to play for all three managers is Barry Ferguson. Funnily enough Ruud Gullit said over Feynoord yesterday" If your best player has a negative influence in the dressing room it shows on the park. If we can get 3 or 4 mill for Barry there are plenty of players out there who will fight for the team more than Barry has.

Let Barry go to, dancing with the stars, his twists and turns will get the jury to unite in front of him, just like he gives the opposition defence the time to do.

Maybe he is better at the Paso Doble than pass the ball½.

Hopefully we will sell him and then maybe we can all learn to jive.
