Ronaldo got Player and Young Player of The Year (First to win both in one season since Andy Gray in 1977), and the Team of the Year was Man Utd's first pick XI with Gerrard, Berbatov and Drogba replacing Carrick and the front pairing. I cant believe team of the year though: PFA Premier League Team of the Year:Edwin van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra (all Man Utd); Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo (all Man Utd) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool); Didier Drogba (Chelsea) and Dimitar Berbatov (Tottenham) Not sure if Van Der Saar would be the best keeper or if Neville and Evra should be in it, but no arguments about Vidic, Rio, Giggs, Scholes and Ronaldo. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I cant believe team of the year though: Not sure if Van Der Saar would be the best keeper or if Neville and Evra should be in it, but no arguments about Vidic, Rio, Giggs, Scholes and Ronaldo. Aye, have Neville and Evra not missed quite a few games with injury? Having said that, who would go in instead? And also VdS has been highlighted for several blunders this season. Cech deserves a wee mention for coming back from that injury and playing to his best again. Carvalho wouldnt be far off Rio aswell. And Stuart Taylor of Newcastle has been good at the back, he was terrific yesterday. A few others have done well in defence like Warnock of Blackburn and Campbell has done well at Pompey on occassion. I'm assuming guys like Terry and Cech might have made it if not for injury. Can't really argue with some of the Man Yoo picks though as they've been stunning at times. Giggs just keeps getting better and better.
