Ibrox Railway Station plans

Recommended Posts

I would be all for this. However I think it is wildly optimistic to think 20,000 would use it on a match day. Indeed, it would be a nightmare getting the train if they did. I was at a Spurs game this year at Wembley, and the queue for the train station after full time was frightening, felt like being a sitting duck for about an hour. However if a slum like Royston can get a station then Ibrox certainly should..

It would certainly ease the strain on the underground (quite considerably).....bigger train would allow fans to be removed from the area much quicker.

This would be brilliant. I'm very near to the proposed new station in Robroyston too so could possibly get the train to the game and skip the traffic. There don't seem to be many Rangers fans around this part of town...
