Fact: There is inarguably a level of conduct expected from people in public positions such as a football manager at a high profile club. And if such a person has mental health issues which affect their conduct then perhaps it's the case they shouldn't be in that position.

A cop is in nothing like as high profile a position as Lennon but if your average cop had 'mental health' issues and was conducting himself in a 'Lennon like' manner say while policing a football match wouldn't people expect him to be removed from duty? At least until said issues could be assessed and treated?

I would be mortified if any Rangers manager conducted themselves in the manner he has/does.
