he came out and talked about his mental health problems and I wondered if his flu was his turmoil in coping with not getting to second place

If that's the case I wish him the best in his recovery

He's done great with Hibs and I think he's a good manager

There has been two well publicised incidents in the press where he has threatened the women in his life with violence. During his Sellik tenure and the fag end of his Bolton management, he played the Hector with vulnerable, pregnant women. Further, there's that land deal in Northern Ireland he entered into with Slab Murphy that went pear shaped and he was left carrying the can.

There are occasions when Lennon is the victim, but there are as many occasions where his actions have impacted on, and created victims.

Mental health problems are now just an excuse for people who don't want to take responsibility for themselves.

He is distinctly un-Presbyterian in his overall behaviour and I'll be glad to see the back of him and his ill-fitting tracksuit.  Sympathy is best placed where it is deserved.

Lennon generally gets a favourable and sympathetic press that doesn't accurately reflect or take into account his history.

The same could be said of SFA disciplinnary panels.

With that in mind, you need an appropriate filter when reading anything about him in the Scottish press and that is being objective.

He instigates trouble and when trouble comes he plays the victim card! what he did walking off the pitch at Hearts should have resulted in a hefty fine and ban, never forget Halliday getting sent off for a fist pump in the middle of the pitch!!!, he should be chased out of Scottish football for the good of the game!

When you don't get punished for the goading at Ibrox, you get him doing the same at Hearts and now today.

The SFA need to grow a set and give him a punishment that fits the crime and his long historical charge sheet.
