The Premier League

Chelsea in the driving seat for 4th. They have tough games against Watford and Leicester but they should get 4 points. Man Utd will get 6 pts from Huddersfield and Cardiff but it wont be enough. As for Arsenal they will be lucky to get 4 points from Brighton and Burnley.

The title race keeps going and Man City have got past their potential banana skin although Leicester wont be easy. But Liverpool go to Newcastle in between their Barcelona games so that will be difficult.

If anything mate its Brenda who would be most bitter against Liverpool. He got near the title and they binned him for the current boss. But he will put Leicester out to do the usual and hit on the break which means City will have masses of possession. It will come down to their finishing. Not having a CL game will help City. If they dont win it then a domestic cup double isnt great for them despite it being a good achievement in the past.

Newcastle will demand a full effort and under the lights at St James on a Saturday night will make Newcastle have an XIth man. Looking forward to that.

I think that might be telling this weekend.

I'll almost be surprised if Liverpool get the three points...

Newcastle were 8/1 for the win and have already shortened slightly.

A wee bit down from the EPL but today is the last day of the regular EFL season in the bottom two tiers (play offs to come).

Notable for pending exits to non league obscurity.

- The worst home top in English football is sure to make the drop, Yeovil.

- The oldest professional association football club in the world, Notts County (founded in 1862) look likely to go as well.

Apparently Juventus based their colours on the original magpies.

Yeovil were providers of FA Cup shocks in their previous non-league existence, so it might be good for them.

As for Notts County, misfortune should not fall on teams in black and white stripes.

Didn’t know that about Juventus. Thanks.

Their nickname, The Magpies is I think the same as Newcastle Utd.

Quite fitting that the club that has Mr.MASH as owner has such a nickname #RobbingBastard
