Borna Barasic yesterday

Lifted from elsewhere.

Did anyone else notice that Borna Barasic followed the pre match ritual with the squad last night? Met the squad at the training ground, travelled with the squad in full pre match kit, and joined them in the changing room before, half way through, and after the game. That is an absolute touch of class from the club. That's how you make a player feel welcome and integrate them into the squad properly. There are certain things that Gerrard and the backroom staff do that impress me more and more than anything else we've had in recent years.

Didnt know that, but it sounds exactly the right thing to be doing for a new recruit. It seems so obvious but yet it still takes a management team with fresh ideas about building team harmony to introduce it. It's very early days but its looking very promising indeed.

Then today he faces his first press conference with the manager sat right by his side the whole time. Loving everything out the club right now. God it's been a while!

For any who missed it he did a foreign interview the day he signed and let slip he was starting this Sunday. During today's press conference Gerrard mumbled something that felt like " remember and don't say your playing!" ???

A small point but true. We now have the influence of the famed Liverpool boot room writ large.

Coming from someone who dissects posts to the bare essentials that is laughable.
