Managers don’t have the influence they once did anyway. Maybe one or two, but mostly it is all about players & how much you spend on them. Look at Juventus, PSG, Chelsea a few years ago.. changing the manager frequently yet keeping the success going. The manager is just a coach now, they don’t even sign the players. It’s not like when the likes of Walter Smith, Alex Ferguson & even Jock Stein used to dictate everything at their club.

No but they can set up different tactics to previous managers and get them playing a different way.
