Let's face it, if Alfie had gone off the pitch smiling with his thumbs up he would still be getting pelters. The First Minister spoke out at the treatment Lennon was suffering on a regular basis. Nicola Sturgeon said no one should have to suffer such abuse and attacks. Further, she condemned anti-catholic racism. Now, considering the number of coins and other objects thrown at Morelos, and the collective abuse at Sellik Park and individual profanity directed at him on the street; surely the First Minister will want to reinforce her welcoming to all immigrants to our country, by highlighting and speaking out against such vile racism?
