I can see where you're coming from Craig and I suppose he did cheat in trying to get Puyol sent off but he was fouled so in that sense he never cheated. I think we are, or should be, looking at 2 seperate incidents Gav. 1. Re the free-kick, you are right - he definitely did not cheat so the free-kick was a good decision by the ref for the body-check and France deserved their goal from the resultant free-kick. 2. The 2nd incident is the ACTION (or should that be play-action) of Henry when he was checked by Puyol. Puyol checked him in the chest but Henry went down clutching his face. 1=not cheating 2= definite cheating Doesn't matter too much now though - France are through and it will be intriguing to see what they have in store for Brazil - I can't see them getting a repeat of the '98 final though 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
