It's a difficult one: there were a few decent performances. 

 

Goldson and Balogun were solid again. 

 

Jack and Kamara controlled the game. 

 

Kent and Aribo were lively. 

 

Barisic steamrolled that left side. 

 

I think I'll go with Morelos, though. He's took a lot of stick recently about his form, fitness and mental state. He looked much better yesterday and popped up with 2 goals, and an assist, which got us the points. He's still got a long way to go to get back to his best, but this was better.

Alfredo for his 2 goals, assist and all round decent performance.

 

No real failures yesterday, all solid performances.

Who am I to disagree with Steven Gerrard's assessment of Morelos as MotM?

Went for Alfie, thought he looked sharper than previous matches and 2 goals and an assist.

Thought Kamara had more than a decent game also.

It is good to see how much Barisic has come on. He is starting to look like a leader, full of confidence and taking iniative. We'll do well to hold onto him.
