A couple of goals in a bounce game to hopefully boost his confidence:

Rangers 2-0 Airdrie

Boydy Bounces Back

KRIS BOYD has put his recent goal drought behind him by netting a double as Rangers beat Airdrie United 2-0 in a bounce match held at Murray Park this afternoon.

The club's prolific hitman looked back to his best as he opened the scoring at the end of the first-half before doubling his side's advantage five minutes after the interval.

Walter Smith fielded a strong side for today's friendly against Kenny Black's men with Boyd being partnered by Daniel Cousin in attack while recent signings Steven Whittaker and Andy Webster also enjoyed 90 minutes of football in a Light Blue jersey.

The match also gave Charlie Adam, Alan Gow, Ian Murray and Filip Sebo the chance to impress the gaffer ahead of Saturday's SPL clash against Falkirk while Chris Burke also made a return to action following his lenghty spell out due to an ankle injury.

Pictures included in link.

Several other first team players getting a run out too.

Thanks for the link. Good to see so many players getting a run-out. Would love to see a few of those guys come in against Falkirk.

Aye, still looking forward to seeing Gow. Was impressed with the little of Cousin I've seen so far so would be good to see him start that one.

The link says 2-0 with a Boyd double unless I mis-read it. Haven't bothered re-reading it now. You still celebrating the Red Star win. :flipa:
