That would leave Arfield (solid, dependable, workmanlike player) wide, with Sakala and Morleos up front. But that's situational, not the game plan, per se -- Man City drop into a 4-4-2 in defence, but you wouldn't say they're set up in a 4-4-2. These mid-game chances are quite interesting, from GvB. SG was, I maintain, quite flexible in his formations, but certainly not mid-game; it was always a set way of playing for the whole match, unless there was a need (losing a player, or the set-up not working). 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
