Hansi Flick

A list of two, then.

We just need to tempt him away from Germany.

I actually like the sound of Flick's assistant (Danny Rohl - assistand to Flick at Germany and Bayern; and under Hasenhuttl at Southampton and Leipzig), but that's most definitely a project.

I'm less concerned about their experience and more concerned about their ability to implement a winning style of play.

A manager with vast amounts of experience and a track record of titles is most likely outwith our reach, whereas some up-and-coming manager - with a track record of implementing a style of play (Ange, for example: experience was limited to backwaters, but had a long track record of being able to implement his style of play) - is much more likely, and more important.

I don't pay much attention to Scottish football outside ourselves, but are there any young Scottish(-based) managers about?

Having had a quick look, the only managers that you could say are 'doing well' are Martindale and Neilson.

They give me the fear!
