Surely not. Has been nowhere near the form of the last 3 months of last season, we need far better. No sell on value, not consistent enough. Worrying if true.

I agree with this. Add to that he will be one of our higher paid players. It doesn’t make sense to have your highest paid players as guys with no resale value as if we don’t make Europe or need to wage dump it’s impossible to move these guys on. Tav, Goodson, Lundstram and Lawrence will likely be our top earners when Morelos leaves and no one Will likely buy them. It’s ok to have a few old heads around making big money but balance is required.

You must watch a different Rangers from me. I think Lundstram has been our best and most consistent player since Beales return.

Sounds like from the managers comments nothing is imminent and arrivals will be a couple of weeks away. We don’t move at all quickly.

I thought otherwise, he sounded excited about new arrivals and sounded these were close to completion.

Anyway, I'd rather we took our time and secured the players the manager wants.

And I trust Beales judgement. Here is a guy who has studied coaching all of his adult life on different continents.

I can see both sides of the Lundstram debate - I think he's just been inconsistent this season, but so has the rest of the team, so it's hard to judge anybody really. Also makes it even more hard to judge those new signings who have been trying to bed-in and are doing so with a misfiring team around them.

Maybe we are extending his contract now before his form improves.

Save some money.

Watching our first and second half yesterday, there was little cohesion in our midfield, with people wandering about rather than sticking to a certain task. In the 2nd half, Lundstram took over the DM role admirably, while Jack played a little further forward ... and we looked far more comfortable. IMHO, Jack's better suited to the DM role, as he has a better anticipation than Lundstram, while the latter is a good distributor of the ball and likes a pop as well.
