Our manager said two weeks ago he had spoke to players and he wanted 3-4 starters in. Here we are less than half the window left.

Some ITK chap over on FF have remarked that we are indeed looking at a striker from the Slovakian league, so there might be something in this Krstovic link. No reliable sources available just yet, so let's take it with a pinch of salt:

Beale has ruled out Tom Davies. Said Whittaker is a player we know and like but no update to give.

After a week or two of being fairly bullish about incoming transfers, the manager seemed to rein in such chat today which is a wee bit frustrating. Is being two weeks into the window and having no (new) additions worthy of concern or is it right we take our time?

It’ll be even more frustrating if we drop points over the next couple of weeks because Jack/Kamara/Lundstram can’t keep up with the schedule but club know best.

This is what concerns me. We know where we need strengthened so it puzzles me that we've not gone ahead and done so.

 

I doubt Jack will play tomorrow after 120mins on Sunday which leaves us with Lundstram (already carrying an injury we're told and playing mediocrely) and Kamara who is very poor at the moment (and also apparently carrying a knock).

 

Then we'll have a very heavy McDiarmid pitch on Saturday night after a week of cold weather and undersoil heating.
