The club is solidly stuck behind the black ball for every pound we spend Celtic can spend ten can't see it getting any better.

That is unfortunately the current outlook.

The board always said that the investment would be front loaded and that resulted in us getting 55 and Seville.

There's little to no further investment on the horizon as far as I can see. We now need to be self-sustaining and that's going to be limiting.

We had a chance this season and we did remarkably well to win our Europa group and claw back the deficit, but it just fell away from us at the end, for whatever reason...partly overperforming  and partly injuries (and other reasons). Not winning the league this season allows them to invest bigger and it's going to be more difficult to overtake them.

I'm not sure that there are further investors out there who will be willing to invest significant sums in a club in Scotland, so we need to manage our resources better and hope for a bit of luck but we're still suffering from the legacy of being sent down the leagues and it will take some clever handling by the management team to claw it back overt the next few years.

I think some of the more pragmatic fans know and understand this, but some just want us to win the league and win it every year. That's not possible currently and seems even further away than it was after 55 (for various reasons). In fact, I'd say that I can't see where or when our next title will come, certainly not in the next few years. Before we know it, we'll be looking down the barrel of another 10 in a row.

Investment is hard to come by, but I'd say its the board's duty to seek out and secure all Investment open to them.

We ploughed £12M into NEH, could that have been better spent in other areas? It's a great facility but how long until it breaks even?

We now have Bisgrove talking about expanding Ibrox - that's going to cost us a significant amount. Will we need 60,000 seats if we are continually finishing 2nd?

There is nothing more us fans can do other than continuing to buy season ticks whilst hoping and praying things change.

Immeasurable, in large part, 'fitness'  excepted.   Or, at least, they may only be measurable by success on the park - ie winning the fucking league (for a change).

(You can throw in success in the Cups, and reaching European Group Stages, or even QFs, too.)

As a list of policy prescriptions, I don't disagree.

There are eight in your list, and seven of these are, quite clearly, the responsibility of a 'Football Department'. ('Better financial management' seems to cut across all aspects of the Company.)

Perhaps a Director of Football, with full responsibility for all of the areas you identify, although not, ultimately, financial management, despite having a contributory role there, is required.

I think that that is a difficult position , especially eg when the usual model is to appoint a 'team' of coaches, so individual changes may be difficult. It's not quite like buying a better rb, or dm, or whatever.

And, what just what is a 'better medical department'? It has to be reactive, obviously, but is there scope for it to be proactive, and help prevent injuries, or specific types of injury? This might get you towards something measurable, but different players, of course, have different susceptibilities, and might not give you the comparison you seek.

This drifts into recruitment, and perhaps a more thorough and rigorous analysis of the players' careers, and like physical/medical/psychological examinations would be required.

Maybe they are immeasurable but after another season of horrendous injuries, overall poor recruitment, players taking weeks to recover from niggles, poor trading model, poor fitness levels etc, we have to change the way do things.

It may not result in us winning the league, but not changing the above will certainly mean we'll regress further.

Make it stop. Please.

So what's your suggestions to transform us from serial losers into serial winners?

Other than make it stop. Please?

It's a house of cards, IMO. We saw how it quickly fell apart when Lennon was appointed. (They got lucky with Ange, but as I predicted, they regressed when he left.)

Luck?

They have failed to win the league once.

Just imagine how frustrating it would be to observe the measurable lack of progress via published K.P.I.s.
