Great news on Aaron’s. We have really missed having a backup for Tav over the last few seasons

I'd like to see Tav as the back up to Aarons.

There was talk of converting Tavernier into cover at CB.

Fixed that for you 😀

Tav would most likely fit into RMs style at CB, but I feel we are at a point when any new signings must be starters rather than cover / squad players.

Great idea. Who needs centre backs that can defend.

He did fine when playing CB last season especially in Europe.

I don't want him starting at RB or CB, but he will offer decent cover for both positions.

100%

I dont want rid of Tav especially but he should not be first choice. This is a big statement signing from our new manager I think

Many said the same about Propper, who also cant defend.

I can't speak for others but I can't remember saying Propper had a good game in Europe. Maybe one, but comparing Propper to Tav is like comparing Sebo to Ally McCosit.

Most are saying Tav's time is up, oe close to being up, but given the huge turnaround of players we require, Tav will undoubtedly be required as cover this season.

Sterling can't be relied upon due to him picking up injury after injury.

Like I said before, right (defensive) midfield might be an option for Tavernier (he's contracted, after all), in a more defensive line up, or a 3-5-2. Let him have less defensive duties and utilize his strengths. But we need to step forward and if we get better quality, we should go for it.

Never seen or heard anything about Aarons, so no comment for the time being.

Never seen such an athletic pack of muscles and energy, constantly having this or that injury.
