Try the second definition.

Means fuck all to us tbh.

I don't care about the jargon and the words. I want a team of fearless bastards willing to get stuck in and give their all to win trophies with Rangers.

Anything else is fancy talk.

Football is actually quite basic.

With respect, you've proven my original point.

With respect, where?

It is essentially jargon.

Culture and identity are built by actions, people saw us as a winning dominant club, because that's what we were.

Sign fearless bastards that want to play football to win trophies, it's that simple.

Look at our most dominant sides, they all had those players.

Installing a footballing culture/

Footballing philosophy

All hipster buzzwords. Hate to spell out the obvious, but these philosophies and cultures take time to install. That's if you even believe it's a thing.

The one thing they wont get is time before the restlessness starts at ibrox.

I actually don't, and just believe it's white noise like all the other bullshit words we use in the corporate world.

Managers like Walter Smith, Alex Ferguson, Graeme Souness, Jose Mourinho etc have all spoken about how to an extent philosophy chat is bollox.

Reputation, culture, identity are attained by doing in my book.

And right now, the club has a loser fear culture, and I think a lot of it stems from Tavernier but that's a whole other matter.

Reducing football to 'get stuck in' is indicative of the footballing backwater attitude. It's basically Baz Ball.

I think you've got it with your third point. That's what we need to build, which is their intent.

Who knows if it'll work or not. There are a lot of things we need to get right - including recruiting the right talents and, as you said, characters - to get back to what matters, which is winning games of football. I applaud the new board's intent.

Footballing culture and footballing philosophy are different things.

I think that's what bugs me most about it.  Bad enough having to tolerate parrots and their buzzwords for 35 hours a week without it creeping into everything else.

Orwell: "Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or a jargon word if you can think of an everyday English equivalent."

Shit n shite.

You just used the term culture yourself! 'Culture of failure', which is what I used, too, a few posts above.

Edit: 'loser, fear culture' .
