I've met many people in my life I don't like, who have made decisions I disagree with but have never felt the need to abuse them or to assault them. It's not a problem with Rangers fans, Celtic fans or any other fans, it's a problem with our society today. The punishments meted out by our courts are laughable to the point where there is no deterrent for the sort of behaviour that has becomne commonplace. McGeady should be able to go where he wants, when he wants without fear of any sort of abuse and certainly not of assault.

 

Agree with that fully it is a sad day when anyone can't even walk down the street without getting assaulted.

On the football front It will give him a huge confidence boost as he must know he is doing something right to get the other support hating him.

McGeady should not be able to headbutt someone, which is what happened according to the reports that I have heard.

 

Don't know which version is correct, but by the sounds of it McGeady is not wholly innoocent in this.

dy really know what happened ?,if not I don't see the point in discussing it really,as everyone so far is making valid points.Anyone should be allowed to walk the streets without being harrassed / assaulted.No-one should think they are above the law and act all high and mighty because of thier celebrity staus.Will the truth come out ?,let's wait and see IMO. WATP.
