Anyone got any ideas who we should go for at right back? Yes, Steven Whittaker. Was originally signed seemingly as a wide right midfielder, but played for Hibs mostly at RB. Anyone got any ideas who we should go for at right back? I totally agree and tbh I don't think Whittaker is the answer. He actually looked more comfortable at LB somehow. pete 2,499 Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 Yes i would give Whittaker a run there. FC Twente has an Aussie at right back Luke Wilkshire. The guy has an iron lung just like Hutton did and plays more like a winger than a defender at times. I would like to see him at Ibrox. Since we are on about Twente they also have a left winger Eljero Elia who is only 21. If we get rid of of McCulloch then i would bring this guy in.
