Me too mate

What's the matter with you all? Don't you want us to actually BUILD a team for once? Or are you only concerned with getting as much money as you can?

If we sell the likes of Mendes and Bougherra - our only real marketable assets - then we might have, say. £10 million but what kind of a team can we get for that? If we get bargains then we'll only look to sell them on.. and so forth. While you're about it, why not cash in on Fleck? It's not as if he'll get to play for us.. A little thing called ambition, lads.

Agreed. I wasnt wanting Cuellar or Hutton to be sold unless it was for ridiculous money (around 15 million for Hutton and 12 for Cuellar) and only wanted them sold if that money was to re-build the team.

No doubt our squad is strong in depth now but at the same time we have so many players worth

under 3 million who start off ok then are a shambles (McCulloch, Darcheville, Dailly etc)

Whats the point in trying to sell off players to get better ones for the next season? Why not try be successful and ambitious at the present. We are no longer able to compete with England so the likes of Mendes are as good as we buy experienced wise.

Fleck will end up going out on loan a few times, leave on a free transfer and eventually make it big somewhere scoring goals for fun.

Pete, re Gomes, I doubt whether Redknapp will stick with Gomes once the January window opens. Spurs need points and if the keeper continues to drop balls into his own net they'll end up losing some valuable points.
