Unfortunately for us, he was ill. Such was his keenness to play that he didn't mention it.

IM not sure whether to say:

1) well done Charlie for showing your desire at playing for Rangers

or

2) What a greedy twat for thinking about yourself first rather than the team and effecting us on the pitch

or

3) What are the medical staff doing not picking up on this!!

"He's been in and out the team

Walter, have you not heard of consistancy....and why use such an important OF game to just bring him in out of the blue???

Meanwhile, Rangers are once again sweating over the fitness of Madjid Bougherra going into Sunday's match away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

De-ja-vou of Cuellar anyone??? Injured before the last transfer window so he didnt pick up a new injury for his new employers/club.

How on earth can the medial team not pick up on a player being ill? Surely their normal (and hopefully daily) monitoring of players fitness would have picked this up? Or at least a sign of it like his resting heart rate being higher than normal?

Ridiculous. Someone's at it.
