Exclusive: Rangers v Hamilton Scottish Cup Match to Be Moved to Monday Night

Recommended Posts

Reliably informed by my mole at Sky Sports that if we get past Forfar in the 5th Round of the Scottish Cup, our game will be moved to Monday March 9th to accommodate SkyTV coverage...

That should keep the Ulster and Northern bears happy. Not.

Another snub to the true fans. :(

I wonder what Bain will have to say about this given his comments about Forfar...

Not much he can say. It's in nobody's best interests for anyone in Scottish football to slag off Sky. We could do with them back into the SPL, and should be bending over backwards to try and encourage them as much as we can.

I hope Rangers (and Hamilton as they have a say in ticket prices) ensure that tickets are reasonably priced - £10 for adults, £5 for concessions should see a near to full Ibrox for this tie. Anything more expensive will lead to a half empty stadium.

Have to agree with you on that. A Monday night isn't the best though tbh.
