How much time do they need? They have been aware of what is coming here since January. Do they need another 6 months?

Forget words and definitions. Our biggest problem to sort out is to do with long numbers.

I get some fans being frustrated by the lack of signing activity but for goodness sakes, can we give the new manager, support structure and owners a little bit of time to get in the building. Much of our potential targets were probably all Kopens, so we need to give Martin/Thellwell/Purdy time. I am also slightly alarmed by the emphasis from some fans on the CL qualifier versus Panathanikos. Are fans seriously expecting us to have 5/6 new signings all in place and clicking into gear for that game? I fear that game will come way too early for this new set up but it will be the reaction to any potential defeat that will interest me. We cannot let that game derail our season before it has even started. I would genuinely put Europe to one side this season and focus on domestic affairs. As long as the team is bedding in for our first fixture away to Motherwell, I'll be happy. Patience please. These guys are here for the long term therefor it requires long term thinking. Even from fans.
