Talking about stats and hold hands ... I checked how Lundstram fared at Trabzonspor, who finished 7th. He played 43 games, 25 as DM, 9 as CM and another 9 as CB. He scored 3 goals and missed 1 game through illness. Borna Barisic, on loan to Leganes from Trabzonspor for half a season, on the other hand, missed a big chunk of the season due to a cruciate ligament tear, playing just 16 games, missing 222 days.

I can deny it. I believe very little that comes out his mouth these days. Yes he will have been approached about the sale of his shares, which he's been trying to punt for years, but I very much doubt his involvement was much more than that.

About time somebody said it. Thank you Dave King. It needs to be Gerrard if we can't afford Ferguson. This current board are going to make a terrible mistake (no surprise to me) and give it to the untested Ancelotti.

Dave King is, as a matter of plain fact, a dog who has had his day. This may be a cause of regret, or of rejoicing, but that is a debate for elsewhere, one with which I would, almost certainly, decline to engage. As he leaves the building, his response to questioning, on appointment of a coach, or indeed on any other matters pertaining to the future running of the Club, should have been short, simple, and to the point: 'It's not my call - ask the new guys on the block. I will keep my own counsel, unless they ask for my opinion, or advice.' That would have been both polite, and politic.
