Good to see McCann and king. But are we trying to hold them to a 0-0 or do we want to go out and beat them? That lineup looks like the former.

I watched Aston Villa v Southampton last night. What a dreadful game. Both teams dull as dishwater and the only goal coming from a good old fashion goalmouth stramash from a corner. All those billions spent assembling these squads and its like watching st mirren v Motherwell. EPL is a myth.

This is the key part of the player trading model. Teams are more interested in Pattersons and Basseys. They want to see upside and potential. They will pay for it. That's why Tav, Kent and Alfredo are still here. I've posted on here before get King/Lowry in the team, if they get about the Scotland squad we will make money on these guys. There is already talk of the elite clubs in the EPL watching Patterson and Bassey so we have a track record now of producing good young talent.

I was hoping to see more of him. Even in the long run if he turns out not to be good enough to be a first team regular he is worth a run of games. I think we jumped into the Davies signing a bit too quickly.

Playing our best midfielder on the right side of a back 3 when he is left footed is strange. I often wonder if its one of those 'it worked once so must work every time i try it' type things that Gio now cant let go of.

Fully agree. McCann deserves a chance. Didn't we pay a fair bit for his transfer fee?
