  1. She never came the first time, he would drive straight down the road after games to see them. Pretty sure his eldest daughter lives in Dubai where she is shacked up with the son of one of the Kinahan cartel bosses, and is pregnant to him. Not ideal baggage that.
  2. I have a little fear with some of these RB Salzburg guys that did well there, went on elsewhere and couldn't replicate the same quality outcomes. Perhaps the issue is that the RB Salzburg model is the value add and difference maker, and not the coaches. Who just happened to be a good fit for that club at the time. Jesse March, Matthias Jaissle(spelling). Roger Schmidt, Adi Hutter. Are they good enough in their own right or did they just 'fit in' with the RB Salzburg model which led them to success, then rinse and repeat this elsewhere. Without replicating the success. If only we could replicate that successful club model..
  3. I like your style @Uilleam
  4. If its a poster on FF then its a 50% chance its a tim.
  5. Think he is just here to fluff Igamane's pillow.
  6. He would have started already. Imagine he is on some sort of gardening leave at Everton. He was visiting Ibrox and the training ground a few weeks back with Marathe and Steinsson.
  7. Sorry to see him go, his fitness record is appalling but when he does play he rarely lets us down. Can only imagine we cant come to an agreement regards wages. He said in his leaving message he didn't expect to be leaving or he would have had a proper lap of honour for our last 2 games.
  8. Exact same feel here.
  9. I was wrong about Walter’s second stint. Hope I’m wrong about Gerrard.
  10. Craig Dawson, Wily Boly, Michael Keane or Ben Mee. One of the above would be good on a short term deal to play CB. If they are cheap enough. Generally I'd stay away from Bosmans unless young or from a much smaller market. They want a big sign on fee and big wages so can be a false economy.
  11. Similar comments have been made on Celtic TV and no action was taken.
  12. He ran our wage bill up sky high and didn't want to sell players when the time is right. I don't think he is a fit for where the club wants to go unless he changes.
  13. We can if we are in the CL every year IMO. But yes, overall point is to sell players for more than we buy in general, agree.
  14. There is a very simple approach to matters like these with Dessers, Raskin, Igamane etc If you are a good competitive team, winning things, breaking even financially with a sustainable wage bill. Sell older guys on big wages if you can. With anyone else there is no real need to sell unless a player is desperate to leave. If you are rubbish, and have just had one of the worst seasons for years. Sell older guys on big wages as a matter of urgency. Sell guys running down contracts for as much as possible as a matter or urgency. Sell promising young players on low wages, with a good few years left for as much as you can get, then reinvest.
  15. Farioli leaving Ajax. Linked with Spurs.
  16. I'd take Shankland on a free, and if Boyle was available for a modest fee I'd take him. An ideal impact sub.
  17. Yeah, I think its more of a 'don't want to' than 'cannot'. Football purists. Look at the list of top goal scorers in the 70's, 80's and early 90's where it died out. Guys were winning it with 15 goals. Catenaccio or bust. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capocannoniere
  18. We need a number 9 who can play back to goal, win high balls, be the focal point of our play. Anyone who has watched us win anything will know that at the heart of our great teams, we always had this. Doesn't really matter much if that is in addition to Dessers, or a direct replacement. But it is needed.
  19. Ferguson was appointed as a 'staunch' barrier to take any flak until this board could get the the end of the season. It was never meant to be a serious appointment that would result in any real outcomes.
  20. I think he will keep up that cadence when at us. I think he has the ability to open teams up and find spaces like Arfield did.
