He'd be lucky to get a game for the reserves had Wallace or Souness been in charge. But unfortunately times change and Ive a feeling he'll play, though I think he should be on bench as Wilson's doesn't deserve to be dropped.

Then again, so is Thomson right now though it hurts me to say that. Thought he was terrible last night. Doesn't look fit and his set pieces (apart from one free-kick) were shockng. Sooner Edu is back the better, though we said that about Thomson when he was injured!!

With Rothen looking like a good signing on the left, it would be great if we could hold on to Boyd and Mendes. Its been a while since we had a really good midfield and I think Rothen, Mendes, Thomson and Davis could be what we've been looking for.
