  1. We will put 10 past a team in the league this season.
  2. Not on subject. I was talking to two Dumbarton directors during the week, to say they were not impressed by the attitude of the Hibs directors last week would be an understatement. Attitude was egotistical, superior etc. not so when they left though.
  3. Mark Warburton on Scott Allan going to Celtic - "we only want players who want to be here & want to play for Rangers...we wish any player well, but right now our only focus is on securing players with that
  4. Not sure what you mean?
  5. Well it is the BBC.
  6. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33905902 Scott Allan: Celtic and Hibs agree fee of £275,000 plus two players By Kenny Macintyre BBC Scotland Celtic have agreed a fee of £275,000 with Hibernian for Scott Allan. BBC Scotland has learned that Dylan McGeouch would move to Easter Road permanently as part of the deal, while midfielder Liam Henderson would also join Hibs on loan. Allan was at Lennoxtown on Thursday night and the transfer will be completed if all three players involved agree on their moves. Celtic boss Ronny Deila had earlier refused to comment on speculation. Hibs head coach Alan Stubbs also declined to be drawn on the matter when asked on Thursday afternoon if Celtic had made an offer. Rangers have had three bids for the 23-year-old rejected, with the Edinburgh side adamant they will not do business with a Championship rival. Hibernian head coach Alan Stubbs refused to be drawn on speculation Hibernian head coach Alan Stubbs refused to be drawn on speculation Allan submitted a transfer request following the second of those offers from Ibrox. Rotherham made an enquiry about the former Dundee United player but quickly ended their interest when told Allan was not keen on leaving Scotland. Allan joined Hibs on a two-year deal after being released by West Bromwich Albion last summer and was PFA Scotland's Championship player of the year.
  7. You are not alone.
  8. BBC saying Celtc have met Hibs price, thought he was not for sale? Shockerooni..
  9. Oh if that were true:laugh2: I said previously Hibs were between a rock and a hard place, it would be doubly so if this is true.
  10. From elsewhere another great piece of work from The Founders Trail/Gallant Pioneers guys .http://blog.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/wp/?p=947 Over the last few years we've been searching the cemeteries of Glasgow for the final resting places of those men who played such a vital role in not only forming our Club but the subsequent years thereafter. Restoration work and the placing of memorials has already been carried out on the resting places of: Peter and James McNeil, and Mr. Struth at Craigton. Moses McNeil at Rosneath and William Dunlop at Cathcart. Just recently we managed to locate the resting place of the final member of the 1877 Scottish Cup Final team. http://blog.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/wp/?p=947 There are many others sites around Glasgow which are sadly in various states of disrepair. On Tuesday 28th July myself along with fellow supporter David Calderwood, who was responsible for the restoration and memorial plaque for Moses McNeil at Rosneath, toured the cemeteries and photographed then logged each individual resting place. Stone work needs done on some, stones re-erected on others and some have no stone at all. They are as follows. Craigton Cemetery Sam Ricketts James Watt Sandy Marshall James McIntyre James Wilson Cathcart Cemetery William Dunlop William Wilton James Watson AB McKenzie Dugald McKenzie RS McColl Hillfoot Cemetery Tom Vallance Lambhill Cemetery George Goudie George Gillespie Rutherglen Cemetery Harry McNeil East Kilbride Cemetery David Hill. A small amount of funds are in place already which was raised via the Sons of Struth work on Mr Struth’s stone and the proceeds from a raffle which we held at the recent RST Family Day. On Thursday 6th August a meeting was held where a plan of action and fund -raising activities were discussed and formulated. We are now making an appeal to the Rangers support to get involved with the project by way of donations. These men from our early years gave us so much that we still enjoy even today that it’s now time to give them a little back in return. The Founders Project isn’t only about an education process it’s about putting everything in place for this and future generations to enjoy. Every Rangers supporter can now contribute to The Restoration of Rangers Graves Project. Regular updates on progress will be posted on these pages. Please donate using the Sons of Struth Memorial Fund link : PAYPAL LINK. - https://www.paypal.com/sendmoney
  11. http://www.alloaathletic.co.uk/pitchhire.aspx I assume we went for the whole pitch.
  12. I was referring to the Easdales, Llambias etc. from last season, he was never out the directors box at away games. No idea what he did when Whyte & Green were about. I do remember him though at the front door standing with AS when the SOS demo arrived, one of them looked at us approaching with a look of disdain and promptly run in doors the other stood and applauded.
  13. In the away games so far has this guy been seen in the directors box? He was last season, seemed to be a special friend of those in control then. Seemingly he did a Q&A with Richard Gough last week in the Thornton Suite. RG was staying we know had the proper people in charge etc, etc. and Camerton was like a nodding horse in agreeing with him!!
  14. Is it possible for a professional football striker to be slower than Boyd?
  15. Chick arrived at Ibrox with the ST Mirren chairman, suppose he was his guest. He is a St. Mirren fan after all?
  16. My ex boss would say "assumption is not good engineering practice" and "assume makes an ass of u and me".
  17. I assume he means sign for nothing, because I agreed with him:oops:
  18. Jamie Murphy heading our way, allegedly.
  19. Mate says it was obvious he did not want to be there. Keep in mind we are talking about Dumbarton fans!! Allan was also booked for what I'm told was through frustration. Stubbs may be just hoping for the best, but it seems he has lost the player. And seemingly his second half performance was worse that first half!
  20. Been told by mates who have Dumbarton ST's that he was posted missing for the duration. Looks like he has downed tools. Hibs & Stubbs are between a rock and a hard place. We should withdraw our latest two offers.
  21. Any name given yet for this moron?
  22. You concur with my assertion. If they don't know who is responsible, are a little confused about orders etc. then they ain't trained properly.
  23. That's good, looked nothing like that from MFM.
  24. Thanks. Just seen it elsewhere. Not a good idea to run the letters down two stands IMO.
  25. Anyone know what it was? Could not make it out from Main Stand.
