Do you support the RST/RF moving forward with this outline proposal?
BEARGER replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I always vote YES. Not against RST having further talks with other fans groups. -
RST now asking members to vote on proposals. Actual vote is on "Do you support the RST board moving forward with this outline proposal?"

Law is not the brightest.

Why don't we just enjoy him while he's here. The player has already said he would like to play in the EPL, but a club needs to want him and lay the price.

The referee was very very poor, I did not think it was a free kick that got us the second goal. The bitter bitter comment is about Houston when talking about Rangers & Ibrox.

Craig also comes from a bluenose family which helps.

Not the way it came across tonight, more that the previous boards were not looking after our best interests.
-
The meeting started with a Q&A session with John Gilligan and Stewart Robertson. They were constrained by the Ashley legal gagging order. JG asked for patience and trust and said things were on the up and the club was in good hands. The club had interviewed Warburton and others but MW & DW were the choice and so far had exceeded what was hoped for. Stewart Robertson in answer to questions said that we were still building up various departments that had been decimated by the previous board e.g. Scouting, we need to pick the right person to lead this after that the rest will flow. SR also said he had a meeting with Glasgow Council on regeneration of the area, the council were more than happy for the club to get involved. The council stated that Rangers had not spoken to them for the last five years. The RST decided not to purchase any further shares on the open market but keep all monies ring fenced for the next share offer. Both directors said that there will be another share offer but all the legal stuff was holding this up at the moment, but it would happen. Also quite pointed that both directors said Auchenhowie not MP, SR corrected himself on this at one point. When asked if there would be an official name change JG said " watch this space".

Wonder if Ally read this, specially bit in bold. He said: “We haven’t scored a goal from a header but I think only two teams have so it’s a bit of a grey area. “There are not that many headers in the game these days. We’re not going to throw the ball into the box and try to win it because the likelihood is we won’t get first contact. “You see teams bringing 11 men back for a corner and that’s the one that confuses me most because if they win the first contact then it is 100 per cent going to go to the opposition so why do it? “People ask why we leave two up at a corner but it’s not rocket science. It’s what works for you. We would far rather be careful and keep the ball and our chances of scoring are far higher if we do that and create an opening. “It was the same at Brentford last year. We had Alan Judge, Alex Pritchard and Jota – all small guys – playing against man mountains so there was no point in throwing the ball into the box because all we would do was give away possession. “We are not blessed with two six-foot forwards in our team so why whack a hopeful ball into the box and make the opposition centre-half look good? “Just keep the ball. For us to throw in a hopeful ball when the right or left-back gets the ball and punts it into the box serves no purpose at all.”

Should Rangers fans help subsidise accessibility plans?
BEARGER replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
It's up to the club to provide up to date legal facilities in line with UEFA guidelines. At the end of the day prices for all tickets and other merchandise may have to be raised, by how much and on what items is for the board to decide. I do not think that a specific levy should be applied, this provision for fans should be looked at as just normal costs for providing fans with decent modern facilities. As has been said it's probably possible that grants could be applied for some of the costs required. -

Mark Warburton: Rangers not miles away from Celtic
BEARGER replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
When DK was interviewed a few weeks ago he stated he thought we required 6 or 7 new players for next season. A few days later MW said 5, they know now who to get. -
As title, oot the door after today's defeat.

Enjoyed that. The best Scottish and Rangers player I have seen in my lifetime, truly world class.
