Their next 3 games are tricky. Georgia will give them a tough time, they could take something off Italy and get a gubbing off Scotland at Hampden. A draw between Italy and Ukraine would be a great result for us.

I think it'll all end in failure with a 4th place finish. Splitting either of the top 3 would be classed as a succesful qualifying campaign because who honestly at the start thought we'd qualify? An important match for us is the trip to Georgia. If we can get a victory there then that should fire us up for our last game, at Hampden against the Tallies. Does anyone know Ukraines remaining fixtures? Have they still to play Italy and France in Ukraine?

Would a draw between France and Italy be a good thing? France have already fucked Italy 3-0 in Paris so you've got to see them going into the game as favourites. What about Ukraine, who have they still got left to play?

Missed the game last night but caught the highlights on BBC. 1st half we were in control and were in cruise control. 2nd half we were anally raped but the Faroes just couldn't score! If they got 1 it would've been tenderhooks. I kinda thought Italy would struggle against Lithuania but they got a good 2-0 win. Another 3 points against Lithuania in September should set us up nicely for the remaining games.

If I was a young footballer with a bright future and both Rangers and Celtic were in for me and Celtic had the better training facilities I'd probably join them. It's good to know that the young kids are actually thinking of their careers and not their wallet.

I stand corrected. Laudrup and di Canio were the same. You knew what trick they were going to do but couldn't get near them to stop it. The only guy who I saw successfully mark Laudrup was Pedersen from Dundee United. Always hated playing they fucks when he was playing cause he marked Laudrup out the game more often than not.

Gribz, Laudrups debut was a 2-1 home win against Motherwell and I don't think he scored but he did run from his own half to setup Duncan Ferguson to score the winner.

I was lucky. My 1st season as a ST holder Laudrup signed. In my second season Gazza signed. Waking up on a cold, miserable and wet Saturday morning knowing you're going to watch Rangers at home to Dunfermline was made worthwhile just because of these 2 players.

Makes no difference to the SPL clubs. There's no more and no less rounds to play.

Why was Toshack even considering dropping Ryan Giggs? OK he's getting on nowadays but he's still a 1st pick for Man Ure and there's no sign of him dropping any form. He was fantastic for Man Ure last season. If the story is true it's a very strange decision from Toshack.
