I don't think the big Spanish clubs take the Copa del Rey seriously. Obviously they'd like to win it but their main aim is the league and the CL.

Spurs need a point to qualify for the UEFA Cup but they should win at home to Man City, Villa have been on a wee mini run and Bolton were awful last week against the Hammers and Sheff Utd need something against Wigan to survive the drop. All teams are playing for something.

West Ham are close to going down. Obviously Wigan are favourites to be relegated but like you said West Ham have fucked up Man Ure's title challenge once or twice so maybe it's payback time for them. Sheff Utd need a draw to survive so there's no way they'll be lying down to Wigan. If both teams just needed a draw then I'd say West Ham were favourites for the drop but the fact of the matter that Sheff Utd can still be relegated is a lifeline to West Ham.

Can be so inconsistent. If he wants to be our number 1 left midfielder then he has to play to a consistently high level on a regualr basis. Good player when he can be bopthered to show up though.
