Just to put some perspective on the Hagi/Alaves loan. Hagi wanted to stay with Rangers, MB wanted him out. Alaves came to La Liga, one of the best leagues in world football, from a fourth place finish in La Liga 2 the previous season. The chances of Hagi propelling them up La Liga were super slim, even if he got full games. To judge him on this loan is pretty daft imo.

Hagi has made 14 appearances for Aalves, mostly as a sub. This loan has not worked out well for Hagi, but I for one would take him over any of our current players.

I do agree with your sentiment, but usually when we play poorly yet still win folk would say that is the sign of a title winning side. The terrible reffereeing we witnessed at the last old firm game may have robbed us of one of those ugly wins that can help decide a league.

Much as I hate seeing players swearing at refs, the sinbin seems like a terrible idea. Surely injuries would come from max effort, cooling down then max effort again. Or are they intending to put excercise bikes in the sinbin. 🤔

If I'm honest I find this thread utterly depressing. Rangers being linked with donkeys like Van Veen or Mckenna paints a picture of just how far off we are from the days when I loved to hear the UCL theme being played at Ibrox. My only hope is that Rangers are working hard behind closed doors to bring in players who are worthy of the club. Just my opinion.

Wee Ridvan was excellent today. Beaton getting revenge on us for daring to question spI refs. Thought Dowell & McCausland were very good too. The big failing was no fourth goal to make my prediction come true.

Sterling & Dowell are the two in form CM's imo.

Beaten by twelve men, yet they should have been down to nine. A really poor performance from Cantwell, Sima & Dessers, whom I hoped had turned a corner. For me Sterling was our best player followed by wee Ridvan. I find myself wondering whether or not we should be trying to get Sima, or let him go once his loan is up. Another question is, how can abada play infront of those palastine flags ?
