About spanner

  1. I don't have an issue I passed a comment, let me know when I have to pass by you what I need to post and I will PM you for permission, to think I wore a uniform.
  2. You couldn't make it up could you ? http://www.followfollow.com/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=475051
  3. Changing horses in midstream is never advisable, especially when all are watching, you appear extremely wet.
  4. Just goes to prove the old adage "be careful what you wish for you may end up getting it". http://home.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php/articles-mainmenu-2/1-club/1199-grantly-group--insolvencies-dissolutions-and-breaches-of-the-companies-acts
  5. Yes he holds something, ownership and the reins, but it wouldn't do to let the facts ruin some nonsensical senstionalism.
  6. SDM holds the direction that the future will take, the decision is his somethings never change, interestin comments in todays Evening Times, perhaps they realise they backed the wrong horse.

    Optimism

Sort of blows the old "you get what you pay for" argument out of the water, and most definitely in our case, top class money for a third rate product, but as always with the proper direction things can and will improve. Unfortunately the musings of WS do not fill me with great hope, I fear he is about to return to his favoured one up front, as he apparently blames people who criticised that negativity for him changing "his" system and getting humped.
  8. My last word on this crock of shit, the more financially astute will be able to note the nonsensical content of particularly the last part of this alleged post.... http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=132728. It would pay to listen to King on the replay of super scoreboard broadcast on Saturday, he makes some very telling contradictions, almost amusing in content, but in reality far from it.
  9. It is now time for me to withdraw from the pointless discussion and speculation brought about by the remark made by WS, with regard to the bank. The Bank has made their position clear, the Chairman has made the position of the club clear, and the former Chairman has made the position of the Parent company clear in a two part interview with the Scotsman and Scotland on Sunday. For whatever reasons there are those who flatly contradict all three parties, apparently they are better placed to judge the situation, better placed and more knowledgeable than the three main players. I shall continue to watch the efforts of the "experts" to prove how clever they are, while in reality tying themselves in knots. I believe one of the "experts" is having lunch with someone "close" to the action today, I think large dollops of humble pie will be the order of the day. (http://tinyurl.com/yaejh4r) The Rangers will continue to dumbfound the critics and speculators Miami or Disney based, business as usual will be and is the order of the day at Ibrox. http://sport.scotsman.com/rangersfc/Interview-Sir-David-Murray-in.5867157.jp
  10. The quote "Rangers have £122m of assets and a £30m overdraft. Does that mean it's a bad business? No. I don't think they are in financial trouble - very far from it. Panic buttons have been pressed for some odd reason." is directly attributed to Duffy, hardly a good starting point.
  11. It appears SDM has very different ideas. http://scotlandonsunday.scotsman.com/business/Bullish-David-Murray-not-ready.5867165.jp
  12. According to Darryl King SDM will be giving the highlighted in bold away for £1, your thoughts. Also Edgar has decided it is the only game in town, who does he speak for. I say it is unadulterated bollox. +++++++++++++ "Rangers have £122m of assets and a £30m overdraft. Does that mean it's a bad business? No. I don't think they are in financial trouble - very far from it. Panic buttons have been pressed for some odd reason." Duffy's proposals have beeen welcomed by fans. David Edgar, of the Rangers Supporters Trust, described his plan as "the only show in town". He said: "We are very supportive of Mr Duffy's proposals. He is the only publicly identifiable businessman to come forward with a credible plan. "We have been in talks with him for several MONTHS about his proposal. The broad forum of Rangers fans' groups will be meeting with him about taking this forward. "His proposal is the only show in town for Rangers fans right now and we'll be working with him to help put it into practice. We can expect to see developments within weeks."
  13. They say and rightly so, that knowledge be the food of life, I see you are starving.
  14. You would be better of in your bed, for as my grandson would say, the word fUd springs to mind, with the essential capital U. You have a pleasant sleep now, and don't be afraid of the dark.
