We don't have the money required
We are about to spend the best part of £8m on 3 centre backs.
The negativity on here is completely over the top.
The Rangers team that started last night will be dramatically different come the start of the season.
One goal over there and the game is done and dusted.

The game could easily have been 4,5 or 6 like the Bury game.

The best part of £8m on 3 defenders... who’d have guessed that?!?

Coulibaly was linked with PSG last summer - such was his reputation.

I think the orange strip is the weakest of the three. The home and away kits are cracking but the third top just looks like no thought has went into it.

How do you know that, Wgs?
I have my sources....
The top they were wearing today was standard Hummel teamwear.
The home kit will be worn on Friday as reported with the other kits released soon after.
Rumour on FF is that we are actually registering 4 kits this season....

It was a training kit.

The guy is seriously unwell.
A few years ago I (politely I may add) pointed out one of his many inaccuracies on twitter, I was immediately blocked.
The negative spin gets more ridiculous by the day. He is adamant that Gerrard is unhappy with the Spanish training facilities - yet I am sure Gerrard picked the location himself having been there with Liverpool. Gerrard has also been on Rangers TV expressing his delight at the facilities.

Off work that day - few beers in town then off to the game.

This whole 'we've all done bad things' rhetoric being used to defend the actions of a woman beater is pathetic. I don't remember anyone pedalling the same nonsense in any of the Stan Collymore topics.
Our club should have certain standards and not signing someone who beat up a woman should be one of them.
It is absolutely disgusting to hit a woman.
However I believe any man who has been punished appropriately is entitled to a second chance.

When are these closed door bounce games due to take place?

Might seem like a daft question, but did his missus stick by him through the whole thing? If she's able to forgive him and move on, would that make a difference to peoples opinions?
They are engaged to be married.

A very good listen

We need to see a dramatic change in our mindset if we are to qualify.
The players need to believe that they are Rangers Football Club players and that they should be winning these types of games.

It is harder for us to get in the EL than it is to get through the CL qualifiers (due to the champions route).
Although that will all change next year.0 -

I very much doubt it. It's training gear, why should it matter whether it is off the shelf or bespoke.
I would suggest that VERY few clubs wear 100% bespoke training gear....whats the point??? Most punters want to buy the team strip, not the training top, therefore very little commercial return.
Even the Team tops will all be very similar. You tend to find that manufacturers come up with a design for the season, and that basic design is applied to all teams. I would suggest that Ceptic's strip does not vary from other teams playing in hooped shirts....
I think we will have something similar to Denmark in due course/

Andy Muirhead (celtic slanted spfl blogger) is going to great lengths to point out the training gear that Rangers are wearing are off the shelf templates.
No doubt bespoke training gear will follow after the kit launch.... what is it with these guys obsessing about everything Rangers.

I am still shocked Aberdeen managed to cling on to second spot, despite beating them 3 times and drawing once.

There is a lad on FF claiming to know Dylan and states that we expressed an interest as far back as January. He also claims he has been stalling on a move down south in hope we offer him something.

We can try not to upset them with Union Flags and orange strips. And ditch any offensive songs. And we can post pictures of ourselves at Irish Republican memorials, like their MPs and councillors do. And we could embrace their outlook and dismiss our misgivings about unicorns and rainbows. Freedom will ensue.
Only kidding. When's the orange top out?
Or you can live in the modern world and just support your football team.

Is there anything else we can do to make sure that we don't offend anyone?
Ditch the flags above the stadium?
Ditch the flags on the pitch pre-match?
Ditch the dressing room picture?
Ditch the loving cup ceremony?
Snowflake generation right enough.......
Snowflake generation my arse - this is 2018 we should not be pandering to the sectarian element within our support.

I am not into the OO, or religion, but they will be in huge demand and therefore sales will be high! I also don't see what is so wrong with having an orange top! let all the haters say what they want, I for one am fed up listening to all these Rangers haters! if an orange top annoys them all well even better! fuck them all
I agree with your points mate.
if it was just a case of winding them up up across the city then I’m all for it.
I just hope it doesn’t damage our image beyond Scotland as being an open club.
The other side of me thinks - we should be able to have any colour of change kit we please.

Two well known posters on FF. Are claiming we will have an orange top next year.
I have to say I am not a fan of the idea as it gives our enemies ammunition and alienates a lot of our supporters with the obvious cultural connections.
Bewildered would be the best term to use.
